Your blackbox logs stay on your device
The blackbox analyzer runs entirely in your browser. Flight logs you open are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit the site, Vercel technically processes connection data such as your IP address in server logs, as far as this is necessary to deliver and secure the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Details can be found in Vercel's privacy policy.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted instance of the open-source software Matomo to understand which pages are used most. The data is processed on our own infrastructure and is not shared with third parties. IP addresses are anonymized. You can prevent analytics by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser or by using a content blocker — the site works fully without it.
Local storage and offline caches
The site stores your preferences (such as the selected theme) in your browser's local storage and, if you use the offline/app features, caches site files and the analyzer runtime on your device. This data stays on your device and can be removed at any time via the "Clear cache" function or your browser settings. No advertising or tracking cookies are used — this site shows no ads.
